Some surfaces also have friction, which requires a certain degree of wear resistance. In short, the parts work under a variety of composite stresses. These parts are mainly structural parts of various machines and mechanisms, such as shafts, connecting rods, studs, gears, etc., which are commonly used in the manufacturing industries such as machine tools, automobiles and tractors. Especially for large parts in heavy machine construction, quenching and tempering treatment is used more. Therefore, quenching and tempering treatment occupies a very important position in heat treatment.

Ordinary mass production can only be repeated periodically to repeat the above process, and this is the most extensive processing method. If the heating is continued, it will cause excessive burning or melting. The internal structural stress of the material is not completely eliminated, causing hidden dangers. Induction heating is only used for surface heat treatment, so that the surface quickly reaches the critical point without affecting the overall microstructure.
